Beauty Haul.

I went shopping yesterday and don't know what possessed me to splurge on beauty and make-up. I usually like to justify big spending spree's as a reward for something I have achieved. Nonetheless, I am very happy with my purchases, as they do add variety to my beauty regime.

NB: I apologise for the poor quality pictures. I actually dont have a digital camera yet!! So all photos taken on my mobile.

First I visited Priceline as I was early to my personal training session and with all honesty, I did need a shower cap and some new underarm deodorant (which I wont show here, as that is very boring)

I bought the Revlon Not Just Nudes cream eyeshadow palette (which is ridiculously expensive compared to the USA, as with all the products I will show you). I have put off buying this palette as i could never bring myself to buy a drugstore product that is quite expensive. But everytime I see this product it is always sold out, so I thought not this time. I have actually used this everyday and love it. It will run out quick though as it has hardly any product.

Moving right along, as I am a pink and neutral nailpolish type of girl I had this desperate desire to try something new. This was in the form of an orange, mint green and my interpretation of a lilac nailpolish. These may seem like spring/summer colours even though we are in the midst of Autumn in Australia, but I have never really cared for rules. From L to R: Revlon's Siren and Minted and Rimmel's Lucky lilac. The orange is very in your face, I dislike the this consistency of the mint polish and lilac is opaque in one coat as promised.

From L to R: Tutti Frutti, Lollipop, Raspberry Pie, Candy Apple

Okay. The real reason I visited Priceline was to see if the darned Revlon Lip Butters had landed on our shores yet. After attacking the Revlon display, I was walking to pay when the pretty but very small display of lip butters was at the front of the store. I was seriously expecting these to be a lip balm consistency going off the Youtube beauty community but these are pretty decent lipsticks.

I then visited Mecca Cosmetica, one of my favourite places to buy beauty and makeup as they stock Nars, Darphin, Stila, etc. They also have an online website

Mecca Cosmetica have introduced Kate Sommerville Skincare to our Australian shores and I was very curious to find out more. I ended up buying EradiKate (the small bottle) which is meant to help with Acne and Blemishes as an overnight treatment. The little bottle is still sealed. The orange bottle, ExfoliKate Body, was the main reason I was checking out the range. I actually used this in the shower today but it is still early days to give my opinion. I also used cult product ExfoliKate (which is green!) but also too early to deem hay or nay.

I actually dont go into Mecca Cosmetica much, so when I do I have to play with the Nars Products.

I bought The multiple in Luxor as I wanted a pink based highlighter, the Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base (no particular reason) and the Larger Than Life Long wear Eyeliner in St. Marks Place (this is a purple eyeliner that stayed put in my waterline all day!!!)

At Hairhouse Warehouse I bought Nicole by OPI (and one OPI) in

Shell me the truth, Truth or Lilac?, Kendall on the Katwalk (from the Kardashian Kolor range) and Fly (from the OPI Nicki Minaj range).

Quite a haul, even on my standards, but hopefully wont happen for a long time yet.

What have you bought recently?
